About the event
On Friday, September 26, 2025, Anchor Press, Paper & Print (AP3), in collaboration with the House of Rad, is
proud to present Kindred Patterns, a two-person exhibition featuring work by Beth Lemerand and Dora
Peregrine. Beth and Dora recently completed the AP3 Emerging Artist Residency program.
The Emerging Artist Residency Program provides recent graduates from either an undergraduate or graduate
arts program in Southeastern Wisconsin with a year of round-the-clock shop access, professional development,
and educational opportunities. Culminating in an exhibition, residents display the body of work created during
their stay. Join us on Gallery Night, Friday, October 17 from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM, to celebrate Kindred Patterns.
Beth Lemerand is a fiber artist and printmaker who moved to Milwaukee to study printmaking and fell in love
with combining this practice with fiber techniques. Her inspiration lies within the rich history of quilting and
fiber-based craft practices, with printmaking used as a vital tool for her to further explore pattern, texture, and
repetition within the context of contemporary fiber arts. Beth Lemerand received her BFA in Studio Art with a
focus on Printmaking and Book Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s Peck School of the Arts.
Dora Peregrine is a painter, writer, printmaker, and bookmaker who graduated from the University of
Wisconsin-Milwaukee and now works out of the House of Rad. Their work explores existentialism through
traditional craft using a backbone of original folklore and parables. Most recently, they’ve expanded into textile
printing and upholstery used as a narrative form.

Craft, tradition, and storytelling are at the heart of both of their work. With distinct voices and perspectives, this
show highlights where kindred practices align and where their voices are distinct. The exhibition is hosted at
the new House of Rad gallery.
Gallery Hours:
The artists will be hosting the exhibition on Fridays from 5:00 PM -8:00 PM
and Saturdays 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM during the run of the show.
