Demo Day! Xerox Transfer Monotypes

Join master lithographer, David Jones, in this experimental lithography demo! This will introduce participants to using black and white Xerox prints as a printing substrate. Ink 'em up litho style, and transfer them to printmaking paper! Pay what you can at the door, suggested $10 donation.

Join us to watch David in his element, and learn about the process that he uses to make his work. We welcome new and familiar faces alike! David Jones was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. At a young age he became intrigued with photography, watching his grandmother take photographs at family gatherings and holiday events. He moved to the Midwest to pursue studies in photography and printmaking. He attended the Center for Photographic Studies, Louisville; Banff Centre for the Arts; and the Vancouver School of Art, and received his BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute.
